Growing up in Ashland, Oregon, Ria Warrick has loved to read ever since she was a little girl. Orphaned at the age of eight, she grew up in the foster care system and she eventually turned to drugs and men to fill the void she felt in her life.

 

Through her love of reading, Ria finally found what she desperately needed when she asked Jesus into her heart at the age of twenty-six. As an aspiring author, she had never been able to complete a story, always finding something lacking in her writing. She had all but given up by the time she became a born-again Christian, and she didn't pick up her writing for a long time after that, choosing instead to focus on her walk with Christ and raising her children.

 

She decided to begin writing again in 2013 and that was when the idea for the Women of Faith series  came to her. Ria had found her missing piece. It became her mission to reach other  women (and men too) who have not had the perfect life and to share with them the love of Jesus. Ria desires to help them to understand that no matter what they may have done, no matter where they are in life, they are still loved unconditionally.

Ria is a mother of three and is thrilled to have her very first grandbaby. A Children's Ministry volunteer for her church, she has been writing more novels for the Women of Faith Series as well as her first Young Adult Science Fiction. She currently lives in Southern Oregon with her youngest child.
