Maggie has finally turned eighteen and is desperate to start her own adventures. Deciding to head to San Francisco, her journey takes an unexpected turn when her wagon train is overrun by hostiles and she finds herself a prisoner of the man she least expected to be her captor. Her faith wavering, she finds herself fighting the hardest battle she's had to face yet.
